One of the things I love most about this book is she includes her references at the end of almost every paragraph. So when you're making that internal debate as to whether or not you think the information is credible, you see the source, and most times where to find it on-line. Add to that the fact that it is normally the CDC or another government agency.
In the foreword by Dr. Andrew Moulden he says: "If penicillin shots and peanut butter sandwiches were mandated, many children would be harmed; some would even die. If we cannot give penicillin or peanut butter to everybody safely, the logical progression that injecting live, biologically active, immunogenetic particles cannot be safe for everyone either." She has a chapter on refuting the 25 most common arguments supporting vaccines. This is a gold mine of information such as: * Vaccines are safe: Vaccines are not held to the same double-blind standard as other drugs. When a new vaccine is tested, it is compared to the old vaccine. If it has the same side effects and reactions it is considered safe. If there are serious adverse events, study investigators find that they were not caused by the vaccine. They just decide it wasn't related. Only healthy children are used in the studies, and they only follow the case for 14 days, anything beyond that is not considered related. * Vaccines are effective: Vaccines are considered effective if they produce antibodies - that does not mean they are protective. In another section she has many scientific sources that state there is no direct correlation between antibody level and protection from the disease. I wish she had combined the two into one section. * Vaccines have been demonstrated to be effective. Smallpox eradication proved that: The first person that received the vaccine was re-vaccinated 20 times and died at the age 20. Jenner (the creator of the smallpox vaccine) experimented on his own son with the vaccine, who also died at age 21. Both boys also acquired tuberculosis, which some researchers have linked to the smallpox vaccine. Smallpox was 5 times more likely to be fatal in the vaccinated than in the unvaccinated. 80% of the cases admitted to the Metropolitan Asylums Board smallpox hospitals were vaccinated, while only 20% were unvaccinated. Dr. Tom Mack, smallpox expert at the CDC said "Even without mass vaccination, smallpox would have died out anyway. It just would have taken longer." She also has a brief history of mandatory vaccines, two chapters on how to legally avoid vaccines, some previously published articles, and 21 reference sections at the back that she calls addendums (I would have called them appendixes). This is a wonderful reference book for the serious vaccine researcher. If you are a parent that is new to the vaccine debate, I would start with her DVD Vaccines: What CDC Documents and Science Reveal.

A Comprehensive Book to Have on Hand,
This review is from: Saying No to Vaccines (Perfect Paperback)
As a non-vaxer I was specifically looking for a book that was a comprehensive overview of vaccinations. Something that got down to brass tacks and had a lot of information in one place. I've gotten several books that were good and gave a lot of information, but to be able to pull one book off of my shelf and have the information right there for someone this is the book for that. Mine came with the DVD and that is a great bonus to give someone to watch and peek their interest. A big thanks to Dr. Sherri for all the time and effort she has put into getting this information and compiling it for parents.

Saying No to Vaccines,

Best resource I have found for educating yourself and your family about the risks of vaccines. Also a big help when confronted by the pediatrician about why we say NO to vaccines and the risks that their recommendations subject our children to.

Great information at any age,

This review is from: Saying No to Vaccines (Perfect Paperback)
This is one of the best books I've ever read, and I'm only a sophomore. We had to do a speech and I read multiple books about vaccines but this was by far the most helpful. It had all the information from every other book I read, and it was really nice to have it all in one place. This book really opened my eyes to everything to do with vaccines, and convinced me once and for all that when I'm older, my children will NOT be vaccinated. I encourage everyone to buy this book, regardless of how old you are. No one should vaccinate themselves or their kids without understanding what's really going on. Don't listen to everything the doctors tell you, they hide the truth. And even if you want to continue to get shots, don't punish your children because you don't know the risk. People can tell us whatever they want to, but we have to take responsibility to find the truth. Please read this book, it will open your mind to a whole new world.

Very well researched book!,
This review is from: Saying No to Vaccines (Perfect Paperback)
This is not a book for someone on the fence, as is explicitly stated by the author. It is a book for those who have choosen to exercise their right to decline reccomended vaccinations for themselves and/or their children. It is filled with a plethora of scientifically based research. IT has a good history of vaccinations, along with ingredients lists for all current ones on the market.
I really enjoyed reading it and felt that the information was the most up to date and conclusive of any similar books I've read.

As a Medical Doctor having read much of what is out there regarding the "other side" of vaccines, Dr Tenpenny has clearly brought forth the most valid, convincing and thorough book to help the masses overcome the oppression by the vaccine mafia. This book gives you all the help you will need to protect yourself. Easy to read and understand. Up to date references. If you buy one book, buy this one. You will not probably need any others. A worthy investment in your and your family's health.

The need of alternative research concerning vaccines,
By
This review is from: Saying No to Vaccines (Perfect Paperback)
There are many important topics facing humanity and human health is one of them. The Saying No to Vaccines book highlights the amount of data which may be missed by the common citizen concerning vaccines and vaccinations. I feel the most prominent thing to be taken from reading this book is that, at the end of the day the pharmaceutical industry is like any other industry in that it's primary purpose is to create profit. Unfortunately like any other business there are ways and means of coercing and influencing the public regarding pharmaceutical products and there necessity for human health. This book 'Saying No to Vaccines' is an excellent eye opener to parents and adults alike who are interested in a fair and honest picture of the nature of vaccines and vaccinations. It is very important that people attain an unbiased picture of the pros and cons of vaccinations and the truths about vaccinations and vaccines since there inception. I would strongly urge anyone interested in there health to consider reading this book, because I firmly believe they will be glad that they decided to read this book and learn from it.

No Better Than Aids Denialists?,
By One Who Cares "Brandon" (Davenport, Iowa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Saying No to Vaccines (Perfect Paperback)
What a blanket statement to the one who posted this. You are either a lemming or uneducated on the subject whether to vaccinate or not. By your logic alone, "doctors can get it wrong" should go both ways. The doctor who sold you on herd immunity obviously didn't school you on the importance of hygiene in fighting the transferring of disease(s); also hygiene's role that was shadowed by vaccinations. You bought the goods of taking an injection that will protect you, but at what cost to you and your future children and grandchildren? Gene expression from your choices are passed to your offspring and their children as well.
You don't know the mechanism of how vaccinations work, but your quick to receive injections and ridicule those who choose otherwise. What does that make you? Well, I won't stoop to name calling and labeling. I leave that to the kiddos. Please don't misinterpret my words. I'm no better than anyone in this or any other reality, but I will stand up for what is good and upright. Medicine does have it's time and place, but is overused and is expected to create health in the unhealthy. Metabolism just doesn't seem to follow that philosophy. I mean disease isn't due to a shortness of vaccinations and medications...obviously. Study immunology and microbiology, both of which I have just over 21 academic hours in, and then present your argument again. Until then, you'd be wise not to represent yourself like this in the future.

I recently started reading "Saying No to Vaccines" and I am really thankful that Dr. Sherri Tenpenny compiled all this information in such a scholarly manner. I've only read to to argument #17 or so, but I think this will not only be a great resource to but a starting point for my own greater understanding! Thank you!
