Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is without a doubt a gem in the manga world. it is a genius manga (I recommend it to fans of comicbook writer Jhonen Vasquez creator of JTHM,SQUEE!,and Invader Zim because it has a similar dark comical feel) it has little to no plotline (other then the teachers quest for his own death or peace) which is great if you just want to read something funny. This manga made me laugh a lot and if you're tired of Naruto and other cliche animes you will greatly appreciate Zetsubou sensei for its satirical hillarity, however if you don't read manga,watch animes,or kwno a few things about the culture of Japan some of the jokes will go waaaaay over your head BUT they do have translation notes in the back of the manga to explain the jokes so all in all they are fantastically funny mangas which i recommend to anyone who likes manga and likes to laugh (and who doesn't?!)

That's my best favorite phrase in this manga.
