Shipping Beware, June 1, 2009
This review is from: Scala Rider AUDIO KIT W/BOOM SRIAU31G (Personal Computers)
I'll rightfully modify the item rating after I receive it. Shame on me? I can't say the information wasn't avaialable, but there was a 27.2% markup on this item to ship it. $9.52, it cost me to have this item shipped, and, including the box, it only weighs ounces. It's not that I wasn't warned, somewhere. I could have looked it up on the shipper's site. But, this being my first time to order multiple items from multiple shippers from Amazon, the shipper got me and got me good. Whereas, a $248.79 item from another shipper cost me nothing to ship, whereas, another item from another shipper cost $32.88 was $4.89 to ship (weighted more than a pound), whereas another item $18.96 cost $3.99 to ship.
$9.52 for an item that weighs ounces? BUYER BEWARE! I can't believe this seller has that many good ratings. I have no idea why I was charged this amount to have this item shipped. I think it was because Amazon's last page was too complicated when multiple items were listed from multiple sellers; I was a first timer; I don't know, but I missed this rediculous shipping amount; I would have canceled the order. Fool me once.
OMG: Well, it came as promised, no problem. Sitll hate the charge and get this, I didn't need it. The scala Q2 I bought already had the larger and longer microphone booms and so I now have an extra, if one breaks. I tried it out and it's exactly like the one's that come with the Q2. My recommendation, buy it elsewhere and save yourself $9.95. Check their site; maybe they'll change after reading this review.
