I purchased this blue tooth ear piece as a stop gap, when I needed a quick blue tooth while my more expensive ear pieces were charging or when I was going to be near water or in the woods.

The price was very good on this product and it works like a little work-horse. I have had several high end ear pieces and have had to send them back as something or the elements caused them not to work. When I have had to send them back I have this ear piece to fill in the void and it has always worked and been very reliable.

The sound is very good, which surprised me and its reliability is also a plus. I have had it for more than a year (and haven't lost it in the woods). It does not have the wind block like my high end ear piece but I did not buy it for that. As far as it being cost effective, dependable and usable it gets 5 stars from me.

I purchased this unit based on positive feedback of other users. I replaced a Jawbone Icon which after their recent firmware update would not stay connected to by iPhone 3GS. Apple says its the Jawbone, Alpha says its Apple. Bottom line is I lose. Funny, that it worked fine until the update. Anyway, this units performance is lacking. It is uncomfortable to wear as there is only one plastic earpiece and an ear hook that hurts my ear after only a few minutes. Add to this the volume is extremely low and even with the phone and unit volume at max it is difficult to hear over back ground noise. I would not recommend this unit.

If you want a good product at a good price with ton of features this is it. The only thing that is missing is noise canceling so if you will use it a lot while driving you should chose another. I love this product I have two and the over the ear piece and be bent to fit your ear perfect. Its really the best design i have ever seen or tried. Unless noise canceling is a must get one you won't be sorry.

This is the best bluetooth i've had. a friend of mine told me about it. at first i thought it was too big but it fits perfectly on the ear, it's crystal clear, and it never falls off.

I have owned several Cardo products over the years, i.e., Scala 500 and Scala 700. The overall quality of these products has been phenomally excellent, most notably the outstanding sound quality.

Why do I say this? I am hearing impaired and the Cardo products have allowed me to utilize the Bluetooth features of varous cell phones I have owned. This has prompted me to continue purchasing them.

The Scala 800 follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, quality sound, ease of use and upto date styling. Unfortunately Cardo has ceased distribution of their line of cell phone headsets in favor of their motorcycling products.

For me this is a great loss of a fine product.
