20 projects from FSM pages,
This review is from: Scale Model Detailing: Projects You Can Do... (Paperback)
This appears to be a selection of articles that originally appeared on Fine Scale Modeler magazine. Being a group of articles that have no connection between them, it's difficult to assign them a global rating. There are projects for ship, cars, AFV, planes and diorama modelers. On the positive side, the book has very good photos, a broad selection of themes, and good tips for painting, weathering, modeling battle damage, etc. On the negative side, many of the articles show their age, we are talking about kits from the 80's. Also, I expected to see at least some projects with a true "step to step" description, but there weren't any. All in all, a good book for beginners, giving a first approach in almost all the fields of scale modeling.
