Scalextric START Track Layout Info (4, 6, and 8 car layouts) Scalextric Start straights are longer than Scalextric Sport straights. If you want to make your set longer, it is best to add the same types of track to each side, ie add 1 start straight and 1 1/2 Sport straight on each side (plus of course you will need adapter tracks). In general, the Start track sets are designed for relatively small layouts. If you really like slot car racing and want a big layout, we honestly recommend you give us a call and consider buying a Scalextric Sport track set. This Scalextric Start set comes with 6 circuits to race! Check out our Hotslots132 Scalextric Start Track Set video. From the Manufacturer
A Lap Counter is included in this set so that two drivers can set up to 50 laps of endurance racing. Each hand controller has a two-position selector switch which allows the driver to choose slow or fast speed settings to reflect the driver's experience. The Scalextric START track has a very easy push-together, pull-apart system keeping assembly time down to a minimum. There are six alternative track shapes to make. The vehicles are tough and robust. A sheet of decals is supplied with each car so that the car can be decorated with racing graphics.
