Newspaper reporter Jasmine Carmody wants nothing more than to expose the mighty Danforth family and any secrets they may be hiding. She is so determined to find any little bit of information that will lend credence to her story that she resorts to digging through the garbage of Wesley Brooks, the Danforth's "adopted" son, who just so happens to have an aversion to reporters.Unfortunately, Jasmine leaves a little memento behind during her foray. When Wesley finds it, he does a little investigating of his own to find out who it belongs to, how they got onto his private property, and why they were there in the first place. When he discovers it belongs to Jasmine, he decides to give her a taste of her own medicine by becoming her shadow. Wherever she goes, he's right there with her. What is supposed to be annoying soon turns into an intriguing affair of the heart. Will the couple be able to put aside their differences for a chance at true love, or are they doomed to a lifetime of loneliness and despair? SCANDAL BETWEEN THE SHEETS was a cute, quick read. While it was not as dramatic, fiery or passionate as Brenda Jackson's other works, it was still an enjoyable read. Fans new and old are sure to enjoy. Reviewed by Renee Williams

Scandal Between The Sheets was such a lovely, sensual read. Wesley sounded as fine as he wanted to be...and I'm glad Jasmine didn't just give in when she realized he caught her snooping. Although the book was short, it was still very enjoyable, and has me wating to read the rest of the books in the Danforth series even though the other characters and authors are not African American. Good work as usual, Ms. Jackson.

Pros: This was a really good book. The "misunderstandings" were kept to a minimum and cleared up rather quickly. For that alone it deserves 5 stars. I loved the fact that they didn't fight at all. How refreshing. This was truly a great story about how the couple fell in love with each other. The book started out with a pretty good premise. Kept me intrigued, definitely wanted to know how it all turned out. Then, the story took a drastic turn into the stalker territory. Instead of following her around, a better idea would have been if he made deal with her to return her property if she doesn't write an article about his beloved family. That would have been a more plausible storyline.
Cons: The heroine is a bit annoying her obsession to report breaking news. The author never really provided a plausible reason for it. Some of the conversations were sophomoric. For example: He wanted her to stop asking questions, so he decided take her to the fair. The fair? Really??

I usually do not read romance books but this one was very good. Although I wish that the story was longer, I feel that Brenda Jackoson could of added more but overall it was great.

Back cover reads - When reporter Jasmine Carmody began sniffing around Savannah's most respected family looking for a story, watchdog Wesley Brooks warned her off. Day and night, she sensed him shadowing her every move, felt his breath, wanted his most intimate touch...This was a great quick read. Jasmine and Wesley were good, interesting characters. Even though the book is short, the characters have depth to them. The chemistry between them is electric and passionate. Would definitely recommend along with any of Brenda Jackson's other books.

Not believable. A gorgeous, handsome millionare can have almost any girl he wants and he is used to being around pretty ladies, so why would an experienced man have no hormonal self control towards a woman who wants to harm his "family"? At least be cold and aloof in the beginning; then warm up later. Brenda is still one of my favorite writers, I have lots of books by her. However, considering everything, the guy should have been meaner.

I thought this was a good book. I read it relatively quick and it held my interest. Sometimes it is hard reading a good book by Brenda Jackson because sometimes I find myself trying to compare them all to Fire and Desire or 1 of the Madaris brothers. It wasnt a SMOKING hot read, but I liked it. I must say I have been reading other authors and for me none compare to Brenda Jackson
