It's been said...the chemistry between Actress Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn is one of those rare electrifying connections on TV and they are. Not only is each episode well written, fast paced and captivating - the fire between these two actors sucks you in and makes you want more. I must say - when I watched the first six episodes, I thought two things: 1. The president is having an affair with a woman who happens to be of color? In this day and age, that's still very bold - 2. At the pace they are going, they will run out of steam before the season is done. I was wrong on both account. Race is NOT an issue - as the script and development of the affair are so well done. The affair makes you root for a relationship that in all instances is wrong. But chemistry between Olivia Pope and the President is AMAZING - it makes you abandon all senses / reason...It is almost indescribable the attraction between these two actors - nicely played out, slowly, carefully and so authentic. A single glance between them in a crowded room speaks volume. You are given just enough dosage to leave you salivating...Shonda Rhimes pays attention to what pulls a viewer in and keeps them engaged...one of the more intriguing shows on TV for quite some time. Great script, two great actors and equally great camera work / editing. Love it.

The storyline in this drama series is simply fantastic. Kerry Washington embodies Olivia Pope. The chemistry between her and Fitz (The President) is undeniably. What I love about the story line is that you cannot predict what's coming next. It keeps you glued to the edge of your seat. Shonda does it again. This show is my new drug. I simply can't get enough of it. For any and everyone who hasn't seen it, you should.

I love the show, the writing, the actors. I usually watch each episode twice so that I can pick up on the things that I didn't notice the first time.

I cannot stop watching this show. All of the characters are AMAZING. I watch and rewatch and then watch again because I want to make sure to catch every line. This is my #1 show. I have a group of friends (Tiffany, Shalonda, Noreal and Teresa) who are just as addicted to this show as I am. I love it, love it, love it and...LOVE IT AGAIN. I am about to purchase a season pass so that I can watch these season 2 episodes any time I want/need an adrenaline rush. The chemistry between Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn is INFECTIOUS. Every single one of the characters is amazing. Mellie is awesome, Cyrus...ALL OF THEM. I am glued to the t.v. with my glass of wine and get transported back to D.C., which I miss very much. I turn off my phone and prepare to get lost in the Scandal of the week. This makes me want to learn / know so much more about Judy Smith, the real-life inspiration behind Olivia Pope's character. Keep it coming Shonda..keep it coming. Bravo!!!! - Yolanda

I got hooked on Scandal last season and with Shonda Rimes at the helm of this D.C. thriller you cannot go wrong in going back and watching season one and starting season two.
This show has as the central character Olivia Pope. She fixes problems and has a superb staff with their own dark pasts that Olivia helped fix before bringing them to her firm.
The biggest secret Olivia herself deals with is her scandalous love affair with the President when she was a member of his staff in Washington.
Season two looks to be as good as the first and this show has stunning Kerry Washington who is the cool under pressure owner of this unorthodox crisis management firm.

good group of characters, all of them larger than life, with problems that are larger than life, and foibles that are larger than life, and virtues that they struggle with ... the essence of soap... but here we are in the 21st century and scandal respects the twisted society we have become.
