Book Description

July 1, 2003
It's happened again. Catholic church sex scandals! Read Merkur Publishing's historical account of the Roman Catholic Church from the 1st to the 19th century. Originally written in German in the 1840s under the title Der Pfaffenspiegel, this book sold millions in Europe over the past 150 years. Now available in English, Scandals in the Roman Catholic Church chronicles the activities of the Catholic Church and gives the reader proof that the present developments of pedophilia and sex abuse in the Church are not new developments, but in fact have their origin many centuries ago and were (and perhaps still are) condoned and concealed by the Church at every opportunity. Scandals in the Roman Catholic Church is filled with accounts of the clergy's sexual preferences, the methods used to procure the means to satisfy their wantonness and the devious methods by which the Church came into the possession of unimaginable wealth.

Taken from Church-approved writings of bishops and saints, from court records, and Papal Bulls, Corvins's historically verifible account of the Church's atrocities was approved by the censor of the time as accurate, and proves that the very foundation of the Catholic Church is based on fraud, fear, superstition and lies! A must for all Christians and for those on the brink of a spiritual renewal!

5.0 out of 5 stars One book all should read, July 18, 2006
This review is from: Scandals in the Roman Catholic Church (Paperback)
We sometimes think that the Catholic priests are becomming less and less 'priestly'. This book will not only show that this isn't the truth, but that the entire hierarchy of the Catholic Church is opposite of what Jesus intended and counter to his teachings.
