Soaring and unrelenting instro wall of noise...,

Hovercraft is one of the few bands whose name is actually a fairly accurate description of the sounds they make. They pummel a soaring and unrelenting instro wall of noise, a careening drone of ebb and flow. This emanation could give one the sensation of taking off and flying in an actual hovercraft. Their rolling ambient but certainly not amorphous wax and wane blasts. Hovercraft's wordless music continues maniacally, tripping jangly, building up a great sledgehammer of anticipation, of impending doom.
