I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. I have used it for several different scars over the past year and have had truly amazing results. It flattened and faded my scars unlike anything I have tried, and got rid of the itching. It really works! As close as you can get to an actual scar "remover". I recommend this to anyone who has a scar the want to get rid of or is having surgery and wants to heal the area with hardly any visible scar. ~L

This product has done wonders for me. I had an ugly scar after a surgury and I really wish I would of taken before pictures. I highly recommend it.

After having a 9-cm lipoid tumor removed from my upper arm, I was left with a very long, bumpy and painful scar that ran from just above the inside of my elbow almost to my armpit. My physical therapist recommended covering the scar with silicone sheets to help flatten and desensitize it. I found these Scar Away sheets on Amazon and this is clearly the best deal I can get. I have to use two patches to cover the whole scar, but it is so improved after wearing them for about eight weeks that half the scar has faded to almost my skin tone, and the visible parts are barely bumpy at all.

I was disappointed that the FSA Health plans don't cover this product (they do cover bandages of most kinds) because I guess they consider it to be cosmetic, but large scars can be very painful, especially if tissue builds up below them. This product really does seem to work, and my physical therapist confirmed that in his experience, silicone dressing absolutely helps.

My only complaints are that the patches are hard to remove from the backing and apply without wrinkling or having the edges roll (the patches are very thin, which is otherwise a great feature); and that they have to be changed fairly often (the manufacturer seems to think they each last a week). I usually end up wearing a fabric compression sleeve over my upper arm to keep the patches on, and they do start to roll up on the edges after a day or two. It's very hard to put them back on once removed, so I keep the sleeve and patch on in the shower most of the time, and then put a dry sleeve over the patch afterwards. Every few days, I remove the patch and sleeve overnight, and then apply a fresh set in the morning.

For those comparison shopping, the two-package "value pack" seems to be the best way to go. It's also nice to have the storage case.

I wasn't too sure that Scar Away would work. I am an African American, so I do scar easily. I'm 19 and just got some tattoos removed. Getting the tattoos was the worst mistake, but I'm young, we make a lot of dumb choices. But when I got the tattoos removed, it left hypotrophic scars and two keloid scars. So I ordered Scar Away and got them in two days. I've been using the silicone sheets for three weeks now, and I can see a change. The scars are no longer shiny. My skin color is coming back. And I can actually see my skin design coming back. Also, the scars are softer and getting flat. So I will keep you guys updated at the end of next month.

I love these scaraway sheets. They really do work. I actually started using these again after I stopped. Its been 6 weeks now, and I love the imporvements. Some of my scars are still a little puffy, but they are no longer hard. They are very soft,and the sheets also leave my skin smooth. 3 of my scars are flat, I am so happy. I have to tape them down, but I have no problem with that, just as long as they work I'm fine. I will update again at the end of the month

I'm So glad that I used Scar Away. It's very easy to use and comfortable.

These strips really do work. Bought them for a post-op treatment and my scars are noticeably smoother and less red after wearing these even overnight. I try to wear them for sleep only though because the silicon catches every fiber from clothes and if you wear anything dark (I love BLACK) they pick up the lint from the materal and look really dirty really fast. You can wash them gently with baby soap and get some of it off, but not all.

After skin cancer surgery I was using Neosporin scar sheets which are wonderful but no longer available so I purchased 2 boxes of these and they are not of the same quality at all. The sheets are much thinner and do not stay on at all, they roll up and fall off after a short while of them being on. The only way to use these is to put tape on over them which is an added expense you should not have to do when the item is meant to stay on for hours. Would never purchase again and wish Neosporin would bring their product back.

My scars are very small, so I'm cutting each strip into 3 pieces. I've had a hard time getting them to stay in place. I work out, though, so probably "sweat them off", plus the smaller size makes them fall off more easily. I've only had them for two weeks, though, so am not giving up yet. Just not delighted as I hoped I'd be.
