Season two of S&MK does a great job of following up on season one- while keeping the humor and romance sparkling, they also did a great job of introducing us to wonderful new characters (Mrs. Farnsworth, played with warmth and wit by Jean Stapleton, to name one) and lovely locations- but keep in mind, this is still very much a spy show! The first half of the season takes Scarecrow and Mrs. King to London, Munich and Austria, and the second half sees them back in DC.
Not only do we get to meet Lee's uncle, but we also get an episode where Amanda and Francine work together! A rare treat! This was also an interesting season for Kate Jackson because she got to play a bad guy in one episode ("Odds On A Dead Pigeon") and in another, Amanda is poisoned with a hallucinogenic and completely loses all sense of reality ("DOA: Delirious on Arrival").
I mentioned the incredible locations in the first half of this season, but the standout of this season for us is definitely "The Three Faces of Emily"- back home in DC Amanda's house is temporarily turned into a mockup of the Soviet Embassy, there are more costume changes than a Broadway show, and the scene in the paint store has us in stitches every time we see it, as does hearing Ms. Stapleton say "Lee Styet-son"!
This entire series is full of episodes you'll watch over and over again. Can't wait for S&MK season 2 to be released on DVD!
UPDATE: Now that we have the DVDs, I'll mention the quality- 5/5 video quality, 5/5 sound quality. Everything is crystal clear in sound and picture, and it's great to have the full episodes- there are a lot of little scenes that were cut from the tv versions, so chances are there are some scenes on these DVDs that you haven't seen since the show originally aired. Once again, there is no bonus material, but in our opinion seeing the uncut show is a bonus in itself!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release this and seasons 3 & 4!!! I adore this tv show and would love to add the rest to my collection!! I know for a fact that there are tons of other people who want to buy this as well, so you should hurry up and release it!!!!!!!!

Clean, action packed show great for families.
It is a shame that TV producers can no longer produce good, clean shows oriented for families like Scarecrow and Mrs. King. It is a very action packed show.

One of the best
This was one of the best crime solvers of its time with a quirky twist. Almost romance, secrets, funny situations. I loved the show when it was on, and still love it.
