Product Description
The Wakefield twins love baby-sitting for the Riccolis, until little Juliana wakes up crying, saying a monster attacked her. Although they tell her bad dreams are not real, but Elizabeth is secretly worried. If the monster is not real, why does Juliana have deep scratches on her back.

From the Inside Flap
On a hill on the outskirts of Sweet Valley sits a beautiful old Victorian house. It stood empty until a few weeks ago, when a new family moved in...the perfect clients for Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield's baby-sitting service....

The Wakefield twins and their friends from Sweet Valley Middle School love babysitting for the Riccolis. Until little Juliana Riccoli starts having horrible nightmares. One night she wakes up crying, saying a monster attacked her. The twins tell her that bad dreams aren't real, but Elizabeth is secretly afraid. If the monster isn't real, why does Juliana have deep scratches in her back? --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spooky..., July 27, 2004
A Kid's Review
This book was great. It was spooky, too. I don't think you should read this book at night unless you'd like to get spooked before sleeping.
This book was really good and grabbed me right away. I recommend this book to Sweet Valley Twin lovers.

I think TOO SCARED TO SLEEP is a great book.Francine pascal knew how to put a scary mood into the book.I liked the part when Winston was baby-sitting for baby twins.I think th scariest part was when the old gardener died after telling Elizabeth never to close her eyes in the Riccoli house. So read TOO SCARED TO SLEEP you won't want to sleep after you read it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow... suprisingly scary!!, February 3, 2009
By Yolanda S. Bean (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
I used to read these religiously, and when at the used book store, I stumbled across this 4-part mini-series... I curled up later that same night and read them, back-to-back into the wee hours of the morning.
First, I was surprised at how modern these books became. This was published in 1996, but the book mentions make-over tv shows, uses "like"... all in all, it was good dun and more suspenseful than you would think! This was a nice respite and time to relive my own childhood!
