Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Hydroquinone (2%) (Skin Lightener). Other Ingredients: Retinoic Acid, Melatonin, MSM, BHT, NA Metabisulfite, Arbutin, Cystamine Licorice Root, Dandelion (Taraxacum Offiinate) Root, Hydroxyanisole, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid, Acetone, Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Alcohol (SDA), Distilled Water.

Directions
Brush a small amount twice daily. Rub in. Limit sun exposure and use a sunscreen, a sun blocking agent or protective clothing to cover bleached skin when using and after using this product in order to prevent darkening from reoccurring.

Scarguard Lightener is a unique and very effective combination of traditional medical lighteners and homeopathic ingredients. Scarguard Lightener is a gel.After applying to the discolored area, it quickly penetrates leaving no residue on the surface to affect clothing. This product can be used alone and is effective on darkened scars (brownish), age spots, freckles, under-eye circles, and essentially, any dark brownish discoloration. It can also be used in combination with ScarCare for scars that are thick and raised and also darkened.

I have had keloids (raised scars) on my breast due to a breast reduction surgery I had several years ago. I thought nothing would help the scars but I started using ScarGuard and miracles are happening. I use the Scarlight first (it helps making the scar lighter) and then follow with the scargard (if the scar is raised as it is in the case of keloids then this step helps in making it flatter). The results are amazing but I have to do the treatmetn (bottles) quite a few times, you might need less or more depending on how severe is your case. But no matter how bad it is it will work! I have also used the Scarlight on a brown spot I developed on my face and is virtually gone. Good luck! I recommend this product 1000% You won't be disapointed.

I was looking for a product that would fade some scars on my legs and lower back. The Scarguard Lightener started working in about a week to 10 days. I noticed the top layer of skin was starting to peel away making the scar a little lighter. I am continuing to use the product twice a day as directed and am very pleased with the progress so far.
