This is the reissue of a Scarlatti recital played by John Browning and originally released on Musicmasters in 1994, which in this form has multiple entries on this website: John Browning performs Domenico Scarlatti 30 Keyboard Sonatas, John Browning Performs Domenico Scarlatti or Piano Sonatas. It has also been reissued by the Musical Heritage Society in 2003, John Browning Performs Domenico Scarlatti. It is a marvel of a Scarlatti recital, it has all you wish in a Scarlatti disc, including a great selection of mostly rarely recorded sonatas - and here, rarity does NOT mean lesser quality: they are in no way inferior to the most popular ones.
