Probably one of the greatest romantic action books ever written. I think most people are familiar with the story but if you have never read the book I would strongly reccomend it. I have seen about 5 different movie versions and none of them get the stry right. The story is really about several things. It is about the injustice done to the masses by the French Aristo's and the people's retaliation against them. It is about a husband and wife and the results of their pride and like of communication. It is about the daring and adventure of youth when a cause presents itself. So if these things interest you, READ THE BOOK!

This is a beautiful hardback book. The cover is set with shiny silver and maroon colored detail into the fabric. This is the first book written by Baroness Orsczy, and has a movie and a stage adaptation as well. It is a densely worded book, I'm a fast reader and it took me a few days to finish, it would take one of my friends about 1 or 2 weeks to read if they plugged away at it. The story is highly descriptive and the characters are real and enthralling. All in all, a great classic!
