This particular Scarpa shoe was made in China. Previously purchased Scarpas were made in Europe. These ones were at least one size smaller than the size displayed on the shoes. All those made in Europe were perfect fit at the same size. Can you display on your website where particular products are manufactured as I would avoid those made in China?
Had to be returned which cost more than refunded postage.

Great shoe. I appreciate the craftmanship of the shoe since it looks and feels well made. I like the moderately stiff feel of the soles and foot bed balanced by the soft feel of the leather. This shoe does not feel like a trail runner with goretex and vibram soles.....its closer to a low cut light weight boot because it provides more stability in hitting trails. Other positives characteristics of the shoe: high quality leather, vibram soles, goretex lining, reinforced toe, soft interior, great variety in sizes, made in Italy and light in weight.

My complaints are the thin "grasshopper" green colored lace loops...I hope they hold but only time will tell. Some complain that the shoe seems narrow but for my feet the shoe feel comfy! There is enough room to replace the paper thin insoles for thicker ones. And one aesthetic complaint: only comes in one color...who the hell would buy a light grey suede hiking shoe? Me.

Overall: Scarpa Mystic is an awesome shoe!

I've owned all brands of low-top hiking shoes and these rank very high on the list. The positives are a very lightweight shoe with good feedback on the trails, mine were made in Romania and not China, with a unique patchwork suede look all in a completely waterproof shoe. The negatives would be a pretty stiff sole with a significant break-in period and a very thin insole. All in all these are a very protective shoe with pretty snazzy looks. As usual, Amazon was great and the price was well below other sites - and I looked all over. Cheers and happy hiking...

I have worn this shoe for over twelve hours a day for the last three weeks now. It's one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Great shoe. I highly recommend it.

Using the fitting guide to get the correct fit worked out perfect. I love this shoe. I like the style, fit and most of all the weight. Comfortable going up or down hills. Nice and firm sole. I have always used boots in the past for bush walking but due to a achillies heal injury I thought I would try out these shoes. Very happy I did. Time will tell but I may never go back to a boot.... These shoes rock!!

A bit stiff underfoot for those who aren't familiar with approach shoes. Will take a little while to wear in, but pretty comfy to start off with. Leathers will soften and feel a whole heap better in quite a short time. A great shoe - a nice step up from the Scarpa Quests.

I've had these for about three months and have worn them extensively while training for a Goruck Challenge. These shoes are great, they are plenty warm, have great traction even on snowy/icy roads/trails and have kept my feet dry through rain, snow and slush. I would definitely purchase these again!

Update; I used these for a GoRuck challenge and I don't think I'll do that again. While these shoes would be great for short 1-2 mile approaches [exactly what they are designed for] rucking for extended distance under load left my feet pretty sore and beat-up. I still really like the shoes for shorter trips and they do have great traction but extended distances under load is not what these were designed for.

This is a great lightweight hiking / walking boot in dry conditions. Unfortunately the advertised Gortex material in this boot doesn't repel moisture in wet conditions and boot quickly becomes water logged. Water repellent sprays don't improve the wet weather performance of this boot.

A serious product but it stays in a dangerous intermediate band between a rigid shoe of mountain and a slipper of hiking, so that flexa enough for the zone of the metatarsus, but the serraje of the top material is probably excessively rigid, for what it provokes a rather troublesome fold.
The sole is Vibram's success, which already was touching after a squall of mediocrity in this segment.
The protection of the toe works to the perfection.
Assembly, seams and ended impeccable, as accustoms the Italian brand.

Definitively a good product, with improvable comfort.
