I got the boots a week earlier than promised so was very excited , They fit perfectly and are really comfortable .
They are a perfect fit and I have room for my toes to wiggle, so no cramped feet.
These boats were purchased as a gift for my girlfriend when we were preparing to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

I purchased my Kailash's in May 2011 for a week of hiking at Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). There was a lot of snow at RMNP last year so I was in snowshoes for much of the time. The boots performed perfectly, right out of the box. They kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable for the entire week. I put about 50 miles on them in May. The second trial was another week at RMNP in October 2011. I did not wear snowshoes on that trip, though there were several inches of snow on the ground at higher elevations. Again, I had absolutely no trouble with my feet for another 50-ish miles. In March this year I completed a 65.2 mile rim-to-rim-to-rim backpacking week at the Grand Canyon. The boots were great and kept my feet comfortable, even on a 15-mile slog across Tonto Trail. In the desert and in the snow, these are the best boots I've ever worn. Based on my recommendation, my 20 and 18-year old sons just bought men's Scarpa boots. The three of us are heading to RMNP again at the end of this month and I'm confident their feet will appreciate their new boots.

I love these boots. I wore these on a seven-day trip to the Kilimanjaro summit after a handful of day hikes. They've been worn on rocky and slippery surfaces. They have never given me any problems at all. I normally wear a US size 8 and bought the size 40. And they are light and comfortable enough to wear around town without feeling like bricks are on your feet. After doing a lot of research on boots, I am very happy I got these. These are well worth the money and highly recommended.

These boots weigh next to nothing and fit my feet like a glove!? They are true to size and comfortable straight from the box. Their first outing was a 13km hike without problem. The sole is easy to walk on trails and grips great rockhopping.

I'll agree with the other reviewers that these boots are super comfortable and the tread is great. However, the toe cap came loose almost immediately on one boot, and now after 15 months of use, both toe caps/guards have completely off from the front of the boot and becomes a trap for dirt and mud. Also, they are waterproof, however if you do get them wet, they take DAYS to dry out. Overall a pretty good boot, but certainly not perfect.

Great. Don't even notice I'm wearing them. Got half to a full size bigger due to having a wide foot, and wanting extra toe room for walking down hills and not having toe cramped into the front of shoe.
Nil break in period - great from the outset. Would definitely recommend to others.

Got these just a few days ago, took a chance based on other reviews and wore them to work right away the next day, without taking another pair of boots with me in case these made my feet sore. No need to worry about that at all because there was no real wear in time needed.
I also have bad bunions on both feet and these boots are nice and roomy in the toe box and extremely stable in the ankles. I work in a coal plant so these boots will get a real hard work out and I expect they will stand up to the challenge just fine.

Fantastic boot! I have a foot with a VERY narrow heel, but normal foot width, and long toes. It makes it difficult to find a boot long enough that doesn't cause blisters due to heel slip. I tried on almost all hiking boots in my size I could find before purchasing these online. These boots fit great, right out of the box. I have worn them for 2 years, and they still look and feel great. I wear a size 10.5 in running shoes, and also wear a 10.5 in these boots. The only reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are horrible for steep uphill hikes in soft snow. The tread pattern does not allow for toe traction in soft snow which leads to slipping. Great traction on flatter ground with snow and ice. (My boot of choice for most sketchy days during winters in Iowa.) Good grip on granite. My feet stayed dry in low stream crossings. Good arch support. Overall, love this boot!

I bought these boots for a tough hike in outback Australia - the Jatbula Trail - where any boots would get a tough workout. I am totally happy with my choice.

I had had Scarpa hiking boots from decades ago, but needed new boots for this trip. I bought the boots a few sizes bigger than my usual size to cope with the spread of feet when carrying a full pack and for the swelling of feet that occurs in hot conditions. I was pleased with this decision.

When the boots arrived they looked fabulous - very well finished, as you would expect from Italian boots. The laces were the right length, it was nice to avoid having to deal with the usual a-foot-too-long-boot-laces dilemma. They were comfortable from the first wearing and remain so.

The boots kept the water out through minor creek crossings and bogs that were less than boot depth. After a serious river crossing the boots really showed their quality. I tipped out the excess water, squeezed out my socks and hiked on for another six hours. The next morning the boots were still wet, so I wore my damps socks again (why wet my nice dry socks?). By the end of the day the socks and boots wre dry and my feet were happy. They had got a bit hot during the day, but given the conditions this isn't that surprising.

A confession: I committed the (usually) major sin of buying my boots the week before I left on the hike - a seriously dumb idea and not recommended. Even though this wasn't the smartest thing I have ever done (and I do know better), these boots caused me not a single problem. I didn't get a single blister during the five day hike and at the end of the hike when others had been pleased to kick off their boots I kept mine on, as they were so comfortable.

These boots are of an excellent quality and coped with tough conditions. They are really comfortable and suit my feet. I look forward to many more miles of hiking with them.
