Really, Really Fun!!,

As a big fan of the Scene It board games I thought I'd try this for my Wii. What a hoot! I especially like the snarky game host...very entertaining. The gameplay itself is classic Scene It, but this is even better because you can play alone and still have fun. But I have to admit, I really like playing against other people. Like the board games, it's a very social experience. I put this in during a party and pretty soon everyone wanted to play. You can't help but get sucked in.
Good stuff.

So Many Bad Decisions,

This game is good for two kinds of people: those with big televisions (so they can actually read the answers) and those who are looking to get into video game design (as an example of what not to do)
Firstly let me say that this game has potential, as an idea it's a great one but there were so many poor design choices made somewhere along the line that it renders the game unplayable. Now, since my Wii is pretty much a party accessory I was quite excited to get another multi-player game. I don't have a small tv (roughly 36"-42" if I had to guess) but we found it impossible and irritating to play. The text is too small, this was clearly a design choice because there's so much negative space on screen as you play. Even though it's on the Wii there is very little point and click interaction; most questions are answered by pushing a specific direction on the d-pad which I found a bit awkward as my natural inclination was to point to or scroll through to the answer I wanted not, for example, push right for choice b and down for choice c. And thirdly, if I might get a bit nit-picky the Host's voice doesn't sync to the mouth animation. So in conclusion if you're looking for a fun party game, buy this in board game form; if you're committed to a Wii game buy Mario Party.

Would be fun, but...,

The concept of this game for the Wii is great. I was so excited to see a Scene It game made for the Wii. There is one major problem, however. The font size of the text is so tiny that my family and I could barely read the answers. I guess it would be okay if you were playing on a big screen tv, but on a regular 27 inch television, it's unplayable. Unless you have a magnifying glass or binoculars. :P
Yes, the game is fun. But the font size makes it unplayable. Do not recommend. Stick to the board game Scene Its...you can't go wrong there!

I bought this game as a birthday present for a friend. We played it immediatley after opening with his family. My friend is a serious movie watcher so this game was a sure thing for him. I on the other hand, I have seen quite a few movies in my day but some of the questions were real stumpors. But it was really fun as a group of people playing the game. Overall it was a great game.

Fun game if you have a 40+ inch screen TV ( maybe even then you have to scoot closer to read the trivia questions) But overall fun. The Xbox game is much better (for all of you 360 kids)

If you are hesitant to buy this because of the poor reviews, but still have a voice saying you want it, just buy it. Amazon has a great price on a great product. True, I could see the text being a little small on really small TVs, but overall the text that would be unreadable wouldn't be that necessary to play the game anyway (just, for example, the names of the characters you can choose from like "martial artist" or "warrior"). Overall I found this game very fun. I played about 10 games with 3 friends and it was fun every time. RECOMMEND.

Have a 72" DLP, and its playable, but can't imagine anything smaller. Great concept, but poorly designed game.

I agree with other review. Font size too small. This made the game no fun and completly unplayable. The game itself is a little fun, but no replacement for the board game. Do not recommend!

I love the dvd game Scene It? so I was thrilled when I saw that there was a wii version of the game. I just played it this weekend and LOVE IT!! It was so much fun. I played with two people but I think you can play up to four at a time. You get to pick your character out of a variety of "Hollywood" types. My personal favorite was the Mummy. The "host" is very sarcastic and funny. There is a great variety of types of questions. You can play a long or short version of the game. I only played the short version but there are 3 rounds and then a final cut question. I thought all around it was a great game. Can't wait to play it again.
