Harry Potter Scene It? is Harry Potter-iffic!, June 24, 2006
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
I love this game! I remember everything I read, and I love Harry Potter, but this game can be difficult sometimes. My friends who have only seen the movies can even answer questions, and my little brother and his friends love playing it.
My only complaint would be that sometimes the movie clips are too long, especially for the die-hard Potter fans, who have seen all of the movies enough. The questions on the clips sometimes do not go hand in hand also.
One other complaint is that if you are afraid of some of the darker elements of Harry Potter, you might get a little creeped out by the dark music and colorings. My younger brother has closed his eyes on two occasions, so only younger kids MIGHT be a little scared.
Other than that, there is nothing wrong with this game. If you love Harry Potter, either book or movie form, or you want to learn more about it, this game is perfect!

A letdown for adult fans., October 10, 2005
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
Unfortunately, this game is centered primarily towards children. The movie related questions are terribly easy. For having 3 movies at their disposal, the clips are sparingly light and even so, the questions therefrom are "gimmes". The "All Plays" are dull compared to the other Scene-It? games ... most of the time being an unscrambling of a picture. The only difficult questions are the ones that relate to the actors' works outside of Harry Potter.
Granted, there isn't as wide of material to choose from as the other Scene-It? games, but the Harry Potter version seems rushed through and badly thought out. I will not be buying another until they get around to a version that covers all the books -- and hopefully Scene-It will endure until then! The other editions are much, much more enjoyable for adults, especially the original, movie edition.
All in all, if you're a big Harry Potter fan, there's no real challenge in this game. This is strictly for the younger (7-12) crowd and casual fans (i.e. ones who have only read/watched the books once or twice). I can't even really recommend it for party play, since the tendency to have a "run" right to the end in one turn is very great (I've done it several times).

Great Game, October 21, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
We bought this game and my 7 year old son loves to play this over and over. He even has his neighbors joining in on the fun. It has a great party play which is great for a crowd.
