We purchased this game after a marathon session watching all POTC movies. We love it. It is a great family game. With teenagers it is often difficult to get them to participate in family game night. With this game there is no question. They want to play! Highly recommended!!!

This is my third Scene It? game and it is great. Like the others, it is fun for all ages and the variety of questions are appropriate for varying levels of fans. When we played for the first time there were were two big fans, a person who had seen all three movies, and someone who had only seen the first movie and she was still a competitive player. It's a lot of fun!

Similar to other Scene-It games; however, it offers an extremely small game board. Overall the game is fun, but you have to be an absolute Pirate fanatic to get the questions right. Good for kids who have watched the three Pirates movies multiple times.

I got this for my older kids who are huge POTC fans.
I've seen most of them, so knew that I wouldn't be as good as they were, but
we played this for several hours on New Year's Eve.

First off, we have other Scene It games, and this board is too tiny to make the game
very much fun. I would highly suggest scanning the board (which is made of pirate coins
linked together to move towards the bullseye), and making your own longer version
of the board! It is truly very short! I want to expand the coins in the middle of the
game so it lasts a little longer. As is, it'll be great for kids with short attention spans.

It seemed like the majority of the clips were from POTC #2. I really thought there would be
more variety than there really was. Many of the clips seemed to repeat, even though they asked
different questions about the same clip. I dunno - seemed almost like Disney threw this together
on a tight deadline and didn't have time to finish it!

That being said, it is still a fun game to play, and I don't regret buying it (but I got it on sale).
The price most retailers charge is way too high for what you'll get, so just be aware of that.
I would have felt very ripped off if I paid full price. For some reason, the POTC franchise has decided
they are worth a small fortune, and that their fans will pay any price for any item. (For example, I'd like the POTC
Yahtzee, but not at the prices they are charging! They need to be more realistic of the value of their games.)

So, if you have POTC fans at your house, they'll definitely enjoy the game. Just know that it'll end pretty darned
quickly as is, so you might need to create your own board to make it more fun.

This is a fun game, but the trivia questions are really easy for hardcore fans. If you've seen the movie a few times, the trivia will be challenging. If you've watched the films a decent amount, you'll know most of the answers. If you're a hardcore pirate, you'll be bored and start thinking up your own, better questions.

We got this for Christmas. The kids love it. The game board is smaller than the other scene-it games, so the games tends to end faster, but that is fine.

Purchased this for my teenage nephew who is a movie buff. He owns all the POTC movies and has already said he and his friends have enjoyed the game several times.

This game was so much fun! If you are a pirate fan in any way you will love this game! We have played it many times and have a blast everytime!

I bought this game for my 11 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. It's a lot of fun, just not long enough. An entire game only lasts about 10-15 minutes. This would probably be a great game for a child with a short attention span. I did find out just how much my child new about these movies, which made it quite interesting. Overall I think it's a great game.

I purchased this game for Christmas. When we opened it up, the video clips had no sound. I returned it to Walmart for an exchange; that one had no sound either. I called Mattel; they mailed me a new DVD; the video clips on this one had no sound either. I can't believe they would send out a replacement and not even check it to see if it worked. So I've had 3 dvd's of the game and none of them worked. Also the game goes quite quickly because the questions are so easy. My 6 yr. old grandson usually wins the game before the rest of us have a chance to leave the the first space. We've had to restrict him to being the last one to roll the dice. It seems like a good idea, but the Harry Potter Scene It games are much better designed. When I contacted Mattel again, they said they would send me a voucher (I assume for another defective game), if I paid the postage and returned the game to them. When I asked about when they would have the problem repaired, they said to call back every week and maybe I could find out that way. This game is so expensive that it is a ripoff that it doesn't work.
