So a great book all in all. Of course a lot of these you may already have known about if you do any kind of driving around Utah. But the amount of detail this book goes into makes it very worth it. Not only does it list each main drive in great details but it lists all sorts of off-shoots, back country byways, and other dirts roads that are worth taking. You cannot find this complete breadth of information succinctly laid out anywhere on google. The only thing I would add is that some of the roads are made out to sound scarier than they actually are. This is probably a combination of the type of car I have and the fact that some dirt roads actually get better over time. Just know your car and what it can do.

This book proved to be very helpful as I drove to the national and state parks of Utah! I had to adjust because I was traveling east to west, rather than west to east as the author did. However, the routes were broken down nicely and I took advantage of many opportunities because of having this book handy at all times!

I just completed a 9 day vacation based upon this book and it was the best money I spent!

There are few pictures in the entire book which is a shame, but the descriptions of the drives in the book are wonderful. In fact, the idea way to use this book would be with two people. One driving and the other reading the narrative as you drove.

I found the narrative to be spot on and the advice saved me much time since I knew what to look for.

5 stars. Color would well be worth the extra dollars especially in the Kindle edition!
