These are nothing like silk. They are so thin that they are practically transparent and they feel very much like cheap nylon. With a single digit price they might, maybe be usefull as an alternative to the lowest grade polyester.

Silky, of course, if a bit on the fragile side. Yet to submit it to a careful cold-water washing. One problem is the fabric is a bit low in that quality of "breathing," which means to lie in one position can leave you a tad hot. Very, very light and, I suppose, kind of sexy, if you're into that sort of thing.

You will never go back to cotton or jersey sheets again. This sheet is not silk but it makes you wonder how it cannot possibly be silk. Keeps you warm and cool throughout the season. Prepare to buy 2 when you see a good deal so that you'll always have one fresh in hand! Note: Look for "Whispersilk" brands by Scent-Scation only.
