This book is great for learning about how scent travels and where it all comes from.
Scientific. It is not about training your dog, but more from the point of view of what the dog is sensing.

One of the best works done on man trailing dogs. Author put the time in research and the info is good. I have been handling GSD Patrol and Bloodhounds for 13 yrs and this info is top notch.

I am a dog handler and trainer. I and my team use this book to help everyone understand more about scent. We are the largest Historic Human Remains Detection (old and ancient bodies) dog team in the world, and this is an awesome reference book for what we do! It's pretty "techie", but, that's what we needed!
