I purchased this exact kerosene can at a local hardware store and consider it to be one of the better CARB (California Air Resources Board) certified containers for the price. In CA we need special storage containers to prevent evaporation of fuels, so we have limited choices on storage containers. This one does the job fine, doesn't leak when pouring, and is fairly easy to operate unlike most of the other CARB certified containers. I haven't tried the "No-Spill" brand of containers which are probably even easier to operate, but I am satisfied with this Scepter can overall.

unless it's made from special wish-granting plastic, this is basically the same thing I get for a few dollars less at ocean state. except it's blue instead of red/orange. which is good because apparently you can get in trouble for putting kerosene in a gas can. unlikely but possible.

it's blue. I don't have to write "KEROSENE" all over it with a marker. scepter makes them in Canada, good for them.

Spilled everywhere. Locking mechanism isn't stable and will snap back at the slightest provocation. It breaks easily, especially if you follow the 'easy to use video instructions' on their website. Waste of my money. Good thing I have a funnel.
