The Scepters of Time is the tale of young Jonathan Stormbold who sets sail for the orient on the ship Cassiopeia. About the Author
Hugh Mannfield is an aerospace engineer living in the Pacific Northwest. He has been involved in many top projects including the B2 bomber, Space Station, Space Shuttle, and commercial aircraft. A long time student of the physical sciences and avid astronomer, he brings science fact to science fiction in his first book The Scepters of Time. Excursions to the nearby mountains, or sailing the waters of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands are his favorite past times. He also enjoys working a five-acre mini ranch complete with horses, where he lives. He brings it all together in a remarkable novel that combines his interests, from sailing to philosophy, into a story of adventure and romance.
