5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent LCD monitor, for FreeBSD,Linuxes & Windows..!, January 13, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Sceptre DCL7B 17" TFT LCD Flat-Panel Monitor with Speakers (Black) (Personal Computers)
Works very well with FreeBSD, Linux and Windows without problems.

When booting up, the monitor is recognized inmediately by the OS, without drivers to load,
because it conforms the svga standard specs incorporated in these operative systems.

The brightness and constrast are very good. Excellent Response Time.

The building materials are of good quality, its structure is very solid,
finished very well and its appearance is really nice and professional.

Although the power LED is excessively bright that distracts the view,
but it is easy to solve with a aluminum paper tape on the LED

The speakers sounds sufficient for personal use, the acoustics is a little low,
but tolerable..

No dead pixels, cool OSD interface, thin, light and good performance

because its good cost - profit relationship, it is a winner

I recommend it. Excellent purchase.
