I bought these bongos for my son after checking into many different types. He has used them on the houseboat, at college, at parties...literally everywhere. They are sturdy, made well and very cool looking. Great sound too! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Schalloch Wood Bongos.

I gave this a friend for Christmas. It was exactly what she wanted. Her smile was well worth the price. I'll have to get her to play for us once she's gotten comfortable with it to see how it sounds. But just playing around with it suggested that it is high quality product.
