4.0 out of 5 stars Good for anyone with a foundation in German grammar, March 3, 2000
This review is from: Schaum's Outlines of German Vocabulary (Paperback)
I used the equivelent of this book in an upper-division Spanish class that I took; I found it truly broadens the vocabulary tremendously. I feel, however, that both of these workbooks, although useful, require a foundation in the syntax of the language for full appreciation of what the authors/editors are trying to do. However, the exercises may be completed without the background.

Especially useful for preparation for travelling and specialized vocabulary (ie. computer, car, etc. etc.)

This review is from: Schaum's Outlines of German Vocabulary (Paperback)
This book is a great tool for improving one's vocabulary in German. It focusses on specific areas, provides the words for that area, and has some exercises to review the words. A good book to enhance one's learning German, at the intermediate level.
