I tried a couple of different Les Paul style cases for my Schecter Solo-6 Classic and none of them fit. The Epiphone case came the closest but just not quite. Almost went with a universal Coffin case but then I saw that amazon had this one in stock. Nobody else had this case at the time and they had 2 of them in stock. This was my first experience with a Schecter case so I didn't really know what to expect for $99 but I'm sure glad I got it. It fits my guitar like a glove. Can't say that for the Coffin case or any of the others I tried.

It's a good solid case made out of molded hard plastic with a sturdy handle and a metal seal. The inside is very soft and specifically shaped to the body of the Solo-6. You won't find a better fitting case anywhere and it even comes with a lock and 2 keys. I knew Schecter made some good quality instruments and now I know they make some excellent cases as well. If you have any one of the Solo-6 models then don't even think about getting anything else. This is the one. It looks cool and it's tough. It's the perfect fit.

I ordered this case because it was the recommended case by Schecter on their product page for the Solo-6 Custom. Indeed, it is a perfect fit. Like a glove. A very TIGHT glove. I have to push the guitar into the molded padding for it to fit. Quality is just okay. The plastic molded outer covering doesn't seem like there's any plywood underneath. Should do what is intended: protect the guitar. Might not last terribly long. Compared to my Road Runner or Ibanez cases, it is a step down, which is a little disappointing for Schecter.

On the plus side, it is the only case I've tried that fits the Solo-6. Plenty of storage compartments, but without lids. That's fine when the case is closed, just make sure you open in with the case level or everything falls out of them.

On the whole, not bad. Not great either. But at least I have some protection for a gorgeous guitar.

This is a sturdy, well made, case that fits my Solo 6 Classic perfectly. I'm taking off 1 star, because the storage compartments don't have lids on them. Shipping gets 5 stars.

After waiting over 6 weeks for this case on backorder from GC. I cancelled my order on the morning of February 8,2012 and within 5 mins placed the order here on Amazon and received it today February 10,2012. Way to go Amazon. The case fits like a glove for my solo 6. Only complaint is I wish Schecter would put covers on the storage compartments I would pay a few extra bucks for that, but hey I can live with out that. Overall very pleased. If u are waiting for this item from GC CANCEL IT and get it here. Don't be a fool like I was and listen to GC's false dates of arrival the last one being February 6. I gave them 2 extra days for processing and that's when I said, heck with them and I came here to Amazon. Next time i will come here first. Lesson learned.WAY TO GO AMAZON,FREE SHIPPING AND NO TAX!!!

Could not get this case ever from Guitar Center as always backordered? Even though the guitar for it was a top seller. Instantly availible here in 3 days.
The case is light but really strong and made well with the aluminum frame all over it. Inside plush and formed perfect for the guitar.
Really happy that high powered GLUE smell was no where to be found like other brands where had to leave it open in the garage for days... Wondered if it would harm the finish also..
This is the best all around design being it is so light but super strong. Way to go Schecter!

Perfect fit for the Solo 6. Should offer great protection. The only negative is that somebody neglected to include the keys to lock the case.
