i have been looking into these guitars for a couple years, when comparing the tones between this and my hellraiser guitar, there is clear proof that this guitar is the real deal! amazing sound, playability, and a beautiful guitar!

i was saddened to find out the solo-6 atx was a limited model, and you cannot buy them anywhere until february. purchased one of the last few on amazon, anyone looking into this guitar,it is worth the wait!

I purchased this and a Gibson LPJ at around the same time. Both guitars are getting regular use, but they couldn't be more different.

The scale length is easier for large hands. The build is great and the locking tuners keep the strings in tune forever. After a setup the intonation is right on the money and the action is low.

It sounds aggressive. The active pickups make it so it reacts differently to pedals.

The 5th star is lost to three issues:

Split pickups like the Les Paul would make this perfect. With the LP you can set two volumes and flip between the pickups. I find that very useful.
The E string slips off the saddle of the bridge sometimes. Somehow it stays pretty close to intune, but it will need some filing, at least on mine.
The string through makes this thing sustain forever, but if you break a string during a gig it could be a full song before you can get back in gear between the stringthrough and the locking tuners.

For the price I paid It's worth every penny.

Just awesome. Set neck, string through body, wicked sustain, pick-ups are bright (a little brighter than the EMG 81/85 set up, but not much... very similar... in my opinion). Plays incredibly well.
