Built for Tone, With Looks to Match
The C-1 features a mahogany body to provide smooth, detailed sound, a bolt-on mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets (Schecter's "Ultra Access" cutaway ensures you'll be able to hit those high notes).

And of course there's looks--the gloss white finish shows off the axe's shape, and black chrome hardware completes the package.

Duncan Designed Active Pickups
The C-1 boasts two ultra-hot Duncan-designed HB-105 pickups. These are the Duncan Designed version of the super-popular Seymour Duncan Blackouts active humbuckers, and much like their predecessor, are a 9-volt active humbucker well-suited for aggressive playing styles. Whether you're banging out old-school thrash metal or straight-up garage rock, these pickups deliver high-output, clear sound with more highs and lows, and less hum.

Each pickup gets a volume knob, and they share a tone knob. The 3-way switch lets you dial in a neck or bridge sound.

Graph Tech "Tusq" Nut
The precision Tusq nut is made with Graph Tech's "man made ivory," which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and is impregnated with Teflon to improve the tuning performance of your guitar. Play as hard as you want, bend a few steps, and your strings glide back into tune. The highly resonant material also means you'll get more richness and harmonics from every note.

Dependable Hardware
The TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design means even more sustain and harmonics, and combined with Schecter's tuners gives you stable tuning and more control over your sound. Plus, as mentioned above, the black chrome finish has the looks to match.

Pros: This is a fabulous playing guitar. I'm a classical guitar player so I don't really know too much about tone and stuff but I've had no complaints with it. I record in logic studio and this guitar has been great. It's pretty too... reminds me of my old girlfriend.

Cons: It is really heavy... like heavier than a bass guitar. If you don't mind a workout then by all means. I don't have the worlds greatest back and it really hasn't bothered me too much.

I love this guitar but if I was doing it over again I'd get a lighter one. Although I got this one for a great price... so maybe not.
