I just purchased the Riot-5 bass Burl Maple from Amazon, upgrading from another Schecter 5-string bass. I was pleasantly surprised at the look of the wood grain as I've since had many compliments on how good the guitar looks. Has great sustain with the neck-thru body construction....the neck has a great feel (a little wider feel than my C-5). Electronics are very nice - I've since learned that you can adjust the frequencies controlled by the bass knob to suit your taste by adjusting dip switches under the cover plate. OVERALL: A great looking and great sounding bass guitar with a very nice feel.

This bass is a definite keeper! The looks are great with the burled maple top and the way the body is carved. It also has a great feel due to the matte satin finish which makes the neck play like a dream! The looks are enhanced by the smoky gray hardware.
The only thing that stops me from giving this bass 5 stars is its sound. Not that the bass sounds bad, its just that the preamp doesnt add quite enough volume. Obviously you can fix this on the amp but I just found the volume to lag a little behind my other basses.
