When you start shaving, the skin moisturizing solid reacts with water and melts just enough to create a light foam. Intuition Plus razors allow you to lather and shave in one easy step. Hair gets caught inside,
By Yang Du "Dublidu" (BELLEVUE, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Schick Intuition Plus Moisturizing Care Pack, Variety Pack, 1 Pack (Health and Beauty)
This razor gives a good shave and is really convenient since you don't have to fumble with shaving cream. However, my main complaint is that long hair will get caught inside the blade and it's impossible to clean once the hair gets tangled with the wires and stuff behind the blade. I never had this problem with regular razors.
Another problem is that the soap sometimes cracks as it dries and chunks of it will fall off.

Waste Of Money,

This review is from: Schick Intuition Plus Moisturizing Care Pack, Variety Pack, 1 Pack (Health and Beauty)
I bought the Schick Intuition because I thought it would be a convenient time-saver since I wouldn't have to bother using gel. After using it for a few weeks I feel like I wasted my money. The first time I used the product it seemed to work great, and I was happy with my purchase. However, after using it a few times I noticed that the razor wasn't shaving entirely. When I finish using the Intuition, my legs and underarms still look like they need to be shaved because the razor doesn't provide a close, smooth shave. It seems as though the moisture bar that surrounds the razor prevents it from getting close enough to your skin to shave the hair entirely. Basically, this product's purpose is to give a smooth shave, but after using it your skin is still prickly.
The cartridges also don't seem to last long. The razor stays sharp, like most normal razors, but the moisture bar disappears quickly. This means I would be buying costly refills more often than I feel I should be. I'm switching back to razors and gel because this product simply does not work and uses expensive cartridges too quickly.

No "Plus" about it--the old one is better,

This review is from: Schick Intuition Plus Moisturizing Care Pack, Variety Pack, 1 Pack (Health and Beauty)
I have been a long-time user of the Intuition razor line, starting with the regular, not-Plus version of this system back in 2003 or 2004. I used the same plastic Intuition hand-held device for six or seven years, replacing the cartridges as I went, and all was well.
This year it finally started to show its wear, so I decided to upgrade to the Plus variety. I had already been using Plus razor cartridges in my old system, after all, since they fit in both. I have to say I'm enormously frustrated by a few design differences between the two that have made shaving annoying since then. The main problem: the suction cup caddy that holds the razor against your shower wall. The original Intuition razor came with a plastic hook that fit into a hole at the base of the razor. This hook stuck to the shower wall with two small suction cups. It was an incredibly stable system--if one suction cup went loose, the whole thing didn't go tumbling to the floor of the shower. Additionally, it suspended the razor upside down, allowing gravity to help drain water out of the razor when it was not in use. The new suction cup caddy has one suction cup and is a yawning, vaguely C-shaped affair that the razor rests in facing up. I am extremely near-sighted and do most things in the shower by touch, and if I should put the new Plus Intuition razor back into the caddy with any imprecision at all, it slips right out and the whole thing smashes on the shower floor. Unfortunately, whenever it takes a tumble like this, the entire assembly comes undone--the razorblade comes out of the cartridge, the cartridge holder comes out of the razor, and sometimes even the caddy falls down. The fact that this incarnation of the razor never drains itself is also a drawback. Water is often trapped inside the plastic and it's harder for the small, shaved off hairs to drain out of the razor as well. All in all, I'm really frustrated by this upgrade. My recommendation: if you want to use Intuition, find the old system if you can (probably on Amazon, since Schick has removed virtually all vestiges of the non-Plus variety from big box stores), and just buy Plus cartridges to go in it. There was nothing wrong with the old one. I even found it easier to hold and use than this new, cumbersome shaft.
