Schick Tracer FX Refill Cartridges , 5 refill Cartridges

Unfortunately Schick has opted not to distribute the Tracer FX any longer, at least where I live. I was happy to find the product here, but then saddened by the additional shipping expense. Both Schick and Gillette are now selling the higher-priced "quad" razors which do little for shaving and really just allow them to inflate the price of an already redundantly-bladed razor. I used a single edge blade for years before moving to the 2-blade Tracer FX. This product, I found, worked quite well. What I like about the razor is that it holds the blade solid so that I can define how much pressure to apply to my skin. The newer, fancy and rather expensive razors and associated blade cartridges have a floppy articulating head which allows the blade cartridge to move, apparently with the design that it would contour to the jaw as the razor is moved. Well that is fine, but you can't get any force on the razor head with those systems. I bought one from Gillette (not being able to find any Trazer FX blades at the drug stores), used it once and threw it away. It did not fit my shaving lifestyle. So I searched and found the Tracer FX here and bought four packs. I hope they're still available when I run out again.

What is funny, is that the Amazon display automatically lists this product as being available either "new" or "used"!!! Anybody want to buy my used razors? Maybe I'll sell them on eBay!

My boyfriend can't seem to find these blades at the local pharmacies. He likes them because he gets a really close shave. Good thing I was able to find them on Amazon.

Every time I find something that works well for me the company discontinues it. Well, Schick did the same for their Tracer FX blades. They are quite difficult to come by.

The design is simple and extremely effective. The blades maintain their cutting ability over long periods of use. Unlike the tri and quad blades by Schick and Gillette, the Tracer FX provides a higher rate of independent and personal dexterity. I can shape/trim my goatee; however, when using the tri and quad blades I end up butchering it and I'm forced to shave the whole thing off.

Hands down, I greatly appreciate the design and feel of the Tracer FX.

Excellent product. Glad I was able to find it at Amazon. I usually have gotten it at Walmart, but I hadn't seen it in a while and it was time to buy more, so I checked out Amazon, and there it was. Thanks again!!!

My husband loves these razors but can no longer find them on the shelves in any stores around.Thanks to amazon.com,he is a happy camper.We will be ordering the Shick TRACER/FX again. THANKS amazon,Jeannie

These Tracer blades and shaver are not sold anymore. But one can still buy the razor blades. This shaver was good in it's time and for the people who still have the Tracer razors and continue to use it buy buying the blades >> the close shave is amazing.

I was unable to find the Tracer FX blades locally and ordered online. They arrived qickly and I would buy them online again.

My husband finds the Tracer FX blades to be the best for trimming his beard/mustache. No local store has them in stock any longer. Thanks Amazon for helping us get them for him.

I have used the Tracer FX for years. My facial skin is sensitive and the Tracer avoids the razor burn I get with all the other multi-blade razors I've tried and then thrown away. The Tracer/Edge gel combo is the only thing that works. I have also found and purchased these at WalMart recently. Inside is a coupon that states, "Refills will soon be discontinued. Thank you for your loyalty." It offers $4 off other Schick razors.

What a shame. They are a great product, last me for weeks and avoid irritation. I had written the company when I heard they had been discontinued. What knucklehead at Schick made this decision? I would like to personally shave them with an old rusty straight blade. Grrrr............
