A magnificient, state of the art, exploration of the psychodynamic treatment method for the severe psychic disorders, with the focus on schizophrenia.
The book offers an excellent review of several theories on schizophrenia, bringing together the work of psycho-analists on both sides of the ocean, conecting the work of Kleinian school with the investigation of the Ego Psychology. The author shows great knowledge on both, and ads a personal account of the theories and techniques. The book is also very good in providing a framework in institutions. |
