I just installed some of these doorknobs in my house today. They are sturdy and attractive. It was very easy to reverse the knob to switch from left-hand to right-hand. You basically push a small tool into a hole to pop off the handles and then switch them.

My only complaint is that they did not come with an optional square-corner face plates for the area around the latch and the strike plate. It comes with a rounded corner only.

For thr small difference in price, I think the Schlage locks look better and will last a lot longer than other stuff you can buy. Do it
once and never have to think about it again--works for me!!

Schlage just makes really good hardware. I needed to replace the passage set on to solid wood fire door to my garage so I searched long and hard for the best deal. Amazon was the best answer by a significant margin so I went for it. As expected the unit installed and works fine and I had it in a couple days.

I purchased this lever and the matching electronic lock and am 100% satified.
My 11 year old grandson uses the entry door like a revolving door and the lever and lock set is still performing like new.

I was very concerned with the one bad review of this only being an interior door. I still felt like since they were showing my keypad with it, it had to be acceptable for exterior too.
I have had this handle outside for 6 weeks - I know not long- but we have had some crazy weather and it still looks brand new. I will be surprised if I do have a problem.
I promise to revise this review if I ever have a problem with the finish.

This handle is very nice looking and made of good quality,it was also very easy to install.would buy again for another door in my home.

I bought several of these door handles to use on outside doors along with the Schlage keypad deadbolts. I didn't want to buy two keypad locks for the same door, and I was afraid that if I used a keyed lever it would end up getting locked and negate the value of the keypad. On a forum somewhere a Schlage rep confirmed that the finish on these "passage levers" is the same as their exterior products (except Bright Brass) and is suitable for outdoor use. Don't be scared off by the "hallway and closet" labeling on the packaging!

The build quality is, as expected, very high. The lever and mechanism is solidly built, and has no slack in the action. It installed in less than ten minutes in the pre-drilled holes in my new door, requiring only a Phillips head screwdriver. I'll be buying more as we continue to renovate our home.

what more can i say? it's a good looking handle. i've only had it for a couple of months but we like it quite nicely. good quality.

These are very easy to install. The handle can be quickly adjusted to accommodate left and right-handed doors. Looks good too.

The passage lever was just what I wanted and together with the deadbolt that I also ordered, my front security door looks great! It arrived very quickly!
