Brachiosaurus one of the tallest and largest dinosaurs yet found, had a long neck, small head, and relatively short, thick tail. This hand painted replica comes equipped with booklet containing scientific data about Brachiosaurus and a figure of a human in the same scale, to facilitate comparison of the size. Sculpted in close cooperation with the Natural History Museum of the Humboldt-University Berlin.

Product Description

The herbivorous Brachiosaurus was one of the largest animals ever to walk the earth, and has become one of the most famous of all dinosaurs. Estimated to be approximately 82 feet in length and was probably able to raise its head about 42 ft above ground level. Each Brachiosaurus figurine comes with a descriptive card and a human figurine that represents a 6' person to show size relation.

This is a huge dinosaur action figure standing about a foot and a half tall(twice as tall as my Papo T-Rex). The figure is solid and sturdy but is adorned with nicely detailed skin textures and wrinkles to give it a realistic look. Very happy with this Scheich product and impressed by the workmanship coming out of that company recently. Props to Papo Toys for setting the new standard in dinosaur action figures.

Our 4 year old doesn't think it's so bad, either.

We're huge Schleich fans at our house. With our three boys, toys need to be pretty hearty to last, and dinosaurs... well they need to be almost invulnerable to anything. (Today our 2-year-old bit the head off a cheaper rubber dinosaur. Yes, it's crazy here.)

This thing is huge, so cool to see it tower over the other animals and dinos they play with. I love the attention to scale and detail in the toy. Let's face it, the wonder of dinosaurs to children is based heavily on how terrifyingly massive they were. This bad boy is great. A favorite.

Buy the way, it even defeats Spiderman every time at our house. That's some serious deference in our abode, let me tell you.

The catch... remember, this toy is big and heavy. If you're the type that's gonna worry endlessly about their precious little one dropping it on their toes or using it as a weapon against a little sister, it could do some damage. But so can a baseball, so what the hell.

First off its very tall and extremely sturdy I feel like I can throw it to the dogs and it would survive for years. The detail has no rival it makes adults have the feeling of being a kid watching Jurassic Park in theaters its that great. My 6 year old daughter is just like her father (me) when he was her age right around the time JP came out she loves Dinosaurs and this dinosaur is her new favorite since she sleeps with it :)
