This was purchased for my grandson. He loves dinosaurs and has a few inexpensive ones from Walmart. This was more expensive, and it has proven well worth the price. He plays with this and 2 others that we purchsed non-stop. This is an extrmely well made toy, very sturdy and heavier than any other dinsosaur he had before. It looks very realistic and he has had a blast with it.

My son has lots of Schleich toys and they are all great quality, virtually indestructible, and wonderfully detailed and lifelike. The Mammouth is bigger and heavier than the typical Schleich animal. I wouldn't recommend it for a very small child just because it is so heavy, but for an older kid who is interested in prehistoric wildlife it's a great buy. Most Mammouth toys are usually cartoon type tie-ins for the Ice Age movie series, so my little boy was excited to find a "real" looking Mammouth.

Excellent Toy. Substantial in size, my grandson loves this Mammouth. The tusks might be a little pointy but overall an excellent Mammouth. Very good detail also.

My son has about 70 or 80 of these figurines. Models is probably more apt to describe these toys because most of them are very detailed and well made. Solid dense plastic like all the other Schleich animals and products. Beware a 4 year old hurling this thing is dangerous and could cause some serious damage, they weigh a ton. Fantastic toys, He loves to match his animals up to his various movies. This one goes good for the kid who likes the movie Ice Age. Well worth the money for a quality toy.

the mammoth came and it is very cool. it is robust, seems durable, and a great addition to the collection. my only objection is the plastic that the Schleich company uses as it seems almost translucent to the appearance and the details are not at crisp as the Safari Carnegie Collection offerings. this is a great item, but i think the Safari Wooly Mammoth has the edge.

My little boy loves prehistoric animals. When I saw this wooly I knew he would be so happy to have it as an addition to his collection. I am happy to report the item is of great quality and very detailed. Happy buyer.

sooo heavy and well made. realistic and even comes with a little person attached to compare how big it was comapred to humans. also comes with little education booklet about the wooley mammoth.

I ordered this great looking Wooly Mammoth for my collection. It looks very much like the famous Charles R. Knight painting-in the picture...I can't rate this toy, because I never received it. They sent me the Baby Wooly in error, and didn't feel like messing with it to return it. Shipping would be about as much as just buying the toy I wanted. The baby Wooly is OK, I guess, but, not what I wanted. I may try again for this item, but, through another vendor. Very disappointed.
