I am 12 and love this brand. This trailer is so realistic, but there is a problem: You can't fit all that horses. What I mean is, if you have a fat horse that is big, it won't fit nicely. Only the "normal" sized ones fit. But overall, this is a really great toy.

We bought this horse trailer, along with the Schleich 4x4 vehicle with driver, for our 3 year old son for Christmas. We also bought a couple more Schleich horses for him to go with the trailer.

Be advised that this trailer is very small and only certain Schleich horses will fit. If their tails or back legs are at all extended, you won't be able to shut the trailer door. This has been frustrating for our son, as only one of his horses will fit.

In addition, if you are considering the 4x4 vehicle, be aware that the doors pop off very easily. When my son tries to open them, the whole door comes off. Luckily, we have been able to pop them back in - however, he prefers now to just take both the doors and the top off.

Bought this for my grandsons to play with but it is much smaller than I expected. The toy horses don't fit without removing the roof and the center divider. Apparently you must also buy the horses that are made by Schleich. Note real happy so I bought another one from Bruder and it works much better.

my 2.5-year-old's wish to santa was for a "truck with a trailer hitch and a trailer." this horse trailer was the second part of the wish, we also got the schleich jeep to pull it. A great quality toy and very realistic. i (santa) also stuffed his stocking with 2 horsies that fit in the trailer. he's able to remove the roof part and the divider and use the trailer to haul small toys and bark chips, etc... we've avoided plastic toys for the most part but this toy is a quality plastic and i feel confident with its construction. at 2.5 years old, my son's not the most gentle boy with his trucks, this proves to be very durable so far. a highly recommended toy -- just perfect for those little boys who love trucks and trailers.

Great detail, well made, loads of fun. This trailer and companion jeep are an excellent play item. Our 3 and 5 year old girls enjoy the set. You can fit an array of animals, sizes and styles, by adjusting or removing the inner gates (more of an adult job) or by removing the top. Sometimes the top pops off when moving the trailer by picking it up, and sometimes it can be difficult to set the front wheel, but minor issues, and not as much of a problem for our older daughter. We have had a terrible experience with the Breyer line truck/trailer, but the quality of the Schleich lines is EXCELLENT.

The first purchase was from Warehouse Deals for $5 or $10 off the regular price. It was supposed to be a complete toy. It was in fact missing trailer hitch and had scratches all over the white top portion of the trailer. We returned.

The second purchase was at full price from another seller. This toy that arrived was not the trailer as pictured but an older version that was not nearly as well crafted, well colored, etc. We returned.

Just not getting any luck getting the actual toy we see in this photo and description.

We just got this for my daughter who loves horses and she loves it. The problem is that she can't put her Schleich horses into it unless she removes the white top. She tried multiple different horses she had and they were about 1/4-1/2" too tall to fit into it. We would have returned it but she love it too much. She just uses it without the top. One would think Schleich would at least size it for their own horses.

The single horse trailer is excellent - rubber like wheels, top comes off to view the horse, and the back door opens downward to let your horse out. It has a front wheel assembly that can be raised when the trailer is towed or lowered to add stability without the jeep/truck in front.

Note that Schleich also sells a double horse trailer that is also quite nice! We own both and for the few dollars more, I feel the double trailer is worth it (though they can be hard to find).
