This was my first Schleich World of Knights figure, given to me Christmas of this year. It's a highly detailed classic dragon, with no moving or detachable parts (the wings are an integral part of the figure). As such, it's safe for very young children, and you don't have to worry about someone's eye getting put out. As to its historical accuracy and educational value, I really cannot say, never having seen Dragons in the wild, but the level of detail is wonderful, and it should encourage children to obtain the more "practical" members of the balance of Scheich World of Knights collection, which are excellent, as well.

He is awesome! He is very realistic and even though he looks like he has sharp parts they are really not sharp at all. I collect toy dragons, and he is one of the best dragons in my collection.

we looked all over for a good-looking, durable dragon action figure. this is it! my boys were only 2 and 4 at the time and it has been stomped on, thrown down the stairs and who knows what else. it thought for sure it wouldn't hold up, but it has! it still looks great despite all the abuse it's endured. beautifully crafted, but not too scary for little ones. great product and great brand.

This is the best dragon we have found. As always, Schleich has created a lovely and durable toy. We have many dragons for our castle, and the Schleich dragon is by far the best one in the collection.

I was shopping for realistic dragon toys and this one fit the bill. The body details are very nice and it is a little larger than some of a Papu dragons. I was pleased.

This dragon is so much fun. What a great gift for any dragon lover. This dragon will last and last. It is durable. It will stand up to the rough play of a small child. For display it is beautiful. Schleich figures are the best in looks and durability. They are definitely worth the price. Amazon's Free Super Saver Shipping is a great deal, too.

My grandson loved this dragon...I thought it was bigger then it was, but it was still a hit

My six year old daughter LOVES this dragon, especially its wings, with the red detailing, and life-like appearance. The open mouth, spines on his back, and other realistic attributes make him one of her favorite imagination toys. She's only had him a week, and has barely put him down.

When my husband and I asked what our daughter wanted from Santa she said a dragon. First we were a bit stumped where and why she came up with a dragon but I did some searching around and found this one and immediately liked it and knew my daughter would as well. She already had the Phoenix by Schleich and she plays with that constantly so I knew this dragon would work out.

It has great detail and is very much how you would imagine a dragon to be. I liked that it was ferocious but not too scary looking. When my daughter opened it on Christmas Day she was very happy and excited to see what Santa brought her.

This Dragon was simply great. Smaller than what I thought, but nice happy green Dragon.
