I was hoping my little 4 year old would be more of a tomboy, but she has suddenly become obsessed with things like unicorns and pink sparkly things. So a slightly tinged pink -- with a dash of sparkles -- unicorn is right up her alley. She carries it everywhere, including school. The thing is really, really sturdy. I don't even think the horn on the head would break. It might have behooved me to get two, since my two year old also wants to play with it. Who knew?

I bought this for my daughter last Christmas after being asked for it for over a year. She loves this thing. The painting & mold detail are really amazing. When my daughter isn't playing with "MoonDust", the unicorn has its own place on her bedroom windowsill. It really looks like a collectible figurine. The Schleich toys do cost a bit more but, the durability and the attention paid to each little spot by this company, a Schleich product is money well spent. You can add warrior princesses, knights, dragons, & more to your collection. Ideal for a girl or a boy with an imagination. Good investment.

The sizes listed for this unicorn are incorrect. The actual measurements (of the toy without the box) are 4"x6"x1.25". It is smaller than I expected. It is still a very nice toy. The mane and tail have glitter but it comes off rarely. The pink coloring on mine is less pronounced than in the picture. The plastic is firm and, maybe except for the horn, would be hard to break. The molding is fine quality detail for a plastic toy. I think most children would enjoy it, if they like this kind of thing.

Lightweight, it was used to decorate a birthday cake, perfectly enhancing the scene atop the cake. Now it proudly stands among our granddaughter's favorite collectibles.

This toy was purchased at $6.05, it went on sale for even less ner $4. The quality of the toy if fine and it almost looks like a figurine as opposed to a toy. I purchased it as a figurine.

On the educational value that I was asked to rate, Yes this toy was very educational, it looks exactly like all the unicorns I have ever encountered. Now we know where the horn was on the unicorns when the grazed the corn fields of the mid-west. ;)

My daughter loves unicorns and I have been looking for a unicorn that won't break. This unicorn won't break even when she bends the horn.

My 4 year old got this as a gift. She love and I love it. It's durable and the horn is not too pointy. I am an overly worried mom and it meets my standards for safety even for the 2 year old. It's a really hard rubber and can handle abuse. Plus it's adorable. Way more detail than you can see from the photo. I agree it would make a cake topper.

this product seems very durable. I did not buy it to be played with but it sits nicely on my unicorn shelf.
