Sera, the delicate princess. In the morning, as soon as the first rays of sun make the dew on the meadows of Bayala glisten, you can see Sera, lost in thoughts, roaming through nature. When she bends down for a rare flower or plucks some of the precious leaves off a medicinal plant, a smile caresses her countenance, brightening it as only sees in a princess. With her knowledge about the healing power of plants, she has already been able to magically help many an elf. All her love belongs to nature, animals and plants. Yet soon, Sera's sheltered life is about to change and this delicate princess will become a great adventuress.

My 4.5-year-old preschooler loves coming up with make-believe stories about fairies, knights, dragons and castles. I finally got her the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Fold-Out Princess Castle which is great value for what you get, and of fine sturdy quality. She needed some accessories to go with the castle and I came upon the Schleich series of figures and toys based on classic fantasy. I loved the depiction of Sera and she looks even better in reality. The attention to detail is amazing, and she comes with a horse. Sera the fairy can be detached from the horse, and I'd recommend getting a couple of other fairies too as they are all beautiful and unique, and they can all take turns riding each other's horses! Highly recommended!

This is by far my daughters favorite Schleich toy! I don't know if they've been available in the US for long, but over here in Europe we basically grew up with them.
I have never come across any toy that is as close to the real thing as the whole Schleich assortment!

sera is one of the best elves in the schleich world of elves collection, along with Surah, Falaroy, Oleana, Turag, Jaro, and Yasira. I have all the elves and I have Summergreen House. I spend at least four hours a day playing with these elves, and I am planning on filming a movie with the elves as the main characters. I LOVE these elves! They're the best!!!

Best Figurines
I collect this series because they are so neat and durable. When I have children I am sure they will enjoy playing with them. I sure did love the animals when I was little.

Best elf in the world part two
Sera is a beautiful Sun Elf. She wears pale yellow, lilac and silver. She comes off her horse, but she can't stand up. That doesn't bother me at all, though. Read more
