Schleich Forest Life: White-Tailed Buck

Schleich usually does a wonderful job of its animals, however this White Tailed Buck Deer toy lacks the detail that most other Schleich animals have. When I look at it, I just see a toy. With their zebras, for example, I am happy to keep them on a shelf in the living room because they are so realistic they look like works of art, as if real zebras were there in miniature. I'm just a little disappointed with the buck. Still, it's not like I see 'errors'; it just lacks the same finesse.

This item was exactly what I was looking for. Doing a hunting scene on the groom's cake at my wedding and was looking for something realistic. This was perfect! Not too big, but not tiny either. Very realistic. Can't really say anything as far as, "fun" or "played with it". But for what I needed, it was perfect.

These animals are the BEST.....they are well made and durable in the hands of our 6 little grandchildren.........hours of fun making little "families" with these animals....I was able to get the Buck, Doe and fawn in the deer family and large/small in many of the other animals...Wonderful...realy imagination play for the children.

I bought this to go on our Grooms cake and it is just what the picture looked like. It is very cute.
