Editorial Reviews

¡ROB! is a culture-clash comedy starring Rob Schneider as a lifelong bachelor who just married into a tight-knit Mexican-American family. Rob is a successful landscape architect who marries his girlfriend Maggie, a beautiful, smart fashion boutique owner, after a whirlwind romance. After eloping in Las Vegas, Rob soon learns that marrying Maggie means taking on the whole enchilada, including her parents, wacky Uncle Hector and feisty grandmother!

Legendary funnyman Cheech Marin and comedy king Eugenio Derbez go mano a mano with Schneider in this Mexican standoff between a man who loves his wife and the in-laws who drive him loco. They say you can't pick your relatives...but with relatable stories and a winning cast, viewers have picked “Rob” as a favorite family comedy!

I gave Rob! four stars out of five, as I felt there were not enough episodes. This sitcom was cancelled way too early and should have been given enough of a chance to further develop its characters. It would have been nice to seen this series continue and see Maggie and Rob eventually raise a child together with the help of his mexican inlaws and the cross-culture battle that could have resulted to drive Rob nuts! Overall, this was a good sit-com with signs of potiential. The playback quality of the DVD was exceptional with good resolution and sound. For those who require multi-language options such as Spanish or French, that feature was not available on this DVD.

You have Cheech Marin and Rob Schneider both on the same sitcom which only adds up to hillarious comedy. A must have to any collection.I would compare this comedy to Roseanne or Married With Children as far as funny goes, but in a different way.Rob is to say the least a little quirky rescently married to a younger hot Spanish woman with her entire family near by and knowing almost everything that goes on and still seem to all get along.

This was a very funny show. Probably not a politically correct one, but Rob is very good at physical comedy and a funny look at the differences culture can make in a relationship. Cheech Marin as usual is hilarious!

This show was so funny, it was a shame the second season was not renewed.
