Our school library can't keep it on the shelf!
Our elementary school library has over 11,000 books on its shelves, and I can't seem to keep this book on the shelf --- ever! I purchased two copies, and the students have already lined up to reserve their place for the book. It even has the "spillover effect" of making the earlier editions (2008, 2007, 2006, etc.) almost as popular! I suppose I should buy...

Eh....
It's a good book if you want to know the plain, simple stuff. I had these at my Elementry school library. They had different ones from different years. I decided to get my own at a school book fair. Then a little while later I realized that it's practically the same old stuff every year. Oh, maybe something here or something there will be changed, but it all seems the...

This is the third year we have purchased this book for my son who is now 9 years old. He reads it ALL year long and it's dog-eared by the end of the year! When he was 6 we had to read it to him for the most part, but now he reads it on his own.

I have a 7 year old daughter who loves the Guinness Book of World Records original version; however, if you want to avoid explaining why people get breast implants then this version is for you!

My almost 7 year old loves this book, and it gets us through the half hour wait time while his brother has a music lesson on a regular basis. Also good for traveling and striking up conversations with other kids.

I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grand-daughter. She loved it! I thought about the other record book, but I'm glad I went with this one. It's great for the younger kids because it's filled with pictures. A nice gift. It was a good price and was here in only a day or two, great shipping.

My boys are 9 and 10 and have been looking at "Record" books for the last few years. They were very excited to open this one up under the tree. Lots of colorful pictures and stats. A great book for kids that like to follow this type of stuff :-)

I bought this book for my son who is 7 years old. He found it at a booksrote first but we purchased it on Amazon since the price is cheaper here. He loves this book and brought it to school to share with his friends. They like it , too.

I got this book for my 10 year old as a stocking stuffer last Christmas.
I have to tell you, she pretty much forgot all her other gifts when she saw it, sank onto the couch, and squealed with delight. I remember enjoying these kind of books as well at her age and will definitely keep getting them for her each Christmas! |
