5.0 out of 5 stars Useful addition to a print-rich classroom, June 19, 2000

This review is from: Scholastic Interactive Pocket Charts: Teeth (Grades PreK-2) (Paperback)
The Tooth Cheer is part of a permanent display in my first grade classroom. Whenever a student loses a tooth, we celebrate with a rousing rendition of the Tooth Cheer. In so doing, students receive direct instruction and guided practice in concepts of print, voice-print matching, phonics skills, and rhyming. Then, when they read the chart as part of their center time activities, they can practice these skills independently.
