From the Author
My goal with this book is to provide parents with a useful tool for getting their kids ready to leave the comforts of home and enter school with excitement and confidence because the environment is totally familiar. I want each child to know what a teacher, and a cubby hole look like. I want them to know what they look like drawing pictures, playing, going to the potty and taking a nap at school. Most importantly, I want them to be secure with the knowledge that mommy and/or daddy come back at the end of the day. The fact that an image that looks like them is the main character, builds self-esteem and pride in their ethnic identity. I hope that this book will propel kids to a great start in life!
