This series is incredible. However, I would recommend using it the summer BEFORE law school starts, and then again during the first year whenever you are driving, et cetera. These are an excellent resource when compared to even horn books, which no law student has sufficient time to read during law school. I would buy these again with out any doubt--and have the "distinction" on my degree purely due to the CDs.

I went to law school 20 years ago. Hated it. Graduated, but went on to do something else as promptly as possible. Now have decided to take the bar and am studying again, and ...wow, these things are good. I remember not understanding this stuff, but now...these are really clear. Just wonderful. Wish I'd had these in law school instead of (okay, okay, in addition to) going to class. I might have wanted to jump off of something a lot less.

My law school required a different series of recorded lectures. Those were good, these were better. Much better. Most of the time the same material was covered with a different twist and certainly in an easy to listen to format. I listened when I would go to the gym and even in that environment, I rarely had to stop and backtrack for thinking "What did they just say?". Summation; Clear. Enjoyable to listen to. Complete.
