I thought these would be a great way to display the kids' pictures through the years. Unfortunately the openings for the wallets is only 1.5 x 1.75. Our photo packages include 2x3 wallets as the smallest size and with that opening you can only get the head in (if lucky). The description claims the mat is suitable for 2x3 wallets, but cut out a 1.5 x 1.75 opening and check that it will give you a nice crop before you order this item.

The photo frame itself is beautiful and I love it. But I did not have a good experience with the sender. Apparently they ran out of the matte, which they did tell me, but they did not keep me up to date as to when I would be receiving my items. I ordered 2 and when they arrived one was broken with the wrong color matte. They replaced and everything worked out for the best.

Just received this; ordered directly from All Things for Mom. Extremely nice frame; mass produced, but very tasteful (I got the cherry finish). Very warm, "classic" appearance with the cherry tone and some black highlighting. Comes with a fold-out prop so that it could be set on a table, but at 11x14, it's really too big for that, and we will definitely hang it. To do so, I'll have to use one of the little hanger kits to attach hanging wire. In fairness, it does have some very thin clips to allow wall hanging, but they are fairly flimsy looking and are attached to the fiberboard backing, not to the wood of the frame, so I wouldn't trust them myself. Not a big deal, but a decent hanger system should be included, in my opinion. As another reviewer said, the K-11 mat openings are really made for the "mini-wallet" size picture, not the "wallet." You can use the bigger one, but with a typical (for our area) school picture, your child's face is going to really completely fill the mat opening, and in my opinion, that's not as eye-appealing. I tried both sizes, and then mounted the mini-wallet size, because I really think it looks better (shows a little background, plus shoulders, for a more "natural" appearance in keeping with the entire picture appearance). When I put the wallet size up against the opening, it looks more like a "mug shot" sitting in the mat than a school picture. The mat itself is "double," or 2 layers - the outer (next to the glass) is an off white ("taupe" they call it), very classic, and I got the blue under-mat for our son. It's a lighter blue, definitely not navy, but it looks absolutely great; just a subtle highlight. All in all, a real keeper. Don't regret it at all. Indeed, I'm going to order another for my daughter's pictures. I have a mat already for hers, but it's only 8x10, and I like this size much better. I don't think you'll regret getting this - just a phenomenal keepsake!

I was looking for a great way to display my son's school pictures kindergarten thru 12th grade. This frame is a nice way to show off the photos over the years!

I ordered 2 of these frames in the end of December and about 4 days later I received them. I was very happy when I saw them, they were worth the money for sure. Very nice frames.
